Yes—the REDMAGIC 10 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition was a real global launch. It debuted internationally in February 2025 as a luxury 24GB/1TB version of the REDMAGIC 10 Pro, priced at $1,499 in the U.S. The official global store lists it as sold out as of August 18, 2026. The official name is Golden Saga; some launch coverage and search listings call it “Golden Sage.”
What “launched globally” meant
REDMAGIC announced the Golden Saga for international markets in February 2025, following an earlier Chinese release. Launch coverage named North America, Europe, the UK, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America. That describes a multi-region launch, not guaranteed stock, carrier approval or support in every country. Gizmochina’s launch report and YugaTech’s report confirmed the international release.
The official global product page calls the device the REDMAGIC 10 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition. “Golden Sage” in the topic and some secondary coverage is a naming variation, not a separate model.

This is a luxury variant built on the REDMAGIC 10 Pro platform, not a new performance generation. REDMAGIC says it shares most specifications with the regular 10 Pro; the edition’s premium centers on materials, finish, a fixed top-tier memory configuration and bundled collector accessories. Its cooling and visual components use gold-plated or gold-infused elements, silver alloy air channels, carbon fiber and a sapphire-glass rear cover. The gold is not a solid-gold phone body. These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent test results. REDMAGIC’s “up to 52 hours of power” is a company estimate, not a measured endurance result for every use pattern. The official specifications page and product listing are the references for the hardware.

Launch-era coverage also describes a 144Hz OLED display, Android 15 with REDMAGIC OS 10, triple rear cameras, a 16MP under-display selfie camera, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. How the cooling system works—and what is not proven
REDMAGIC describes an 11-layer thermal design combining a vapor chamber, graphene, copper-related thermal materials, carbon fiber and liquid metal. The Golden Saga adds gold-plated or gold-infused cooling components and silver alloy air channels; the stated aim is to move heat away from the processor and support sustained performance. The box also includes a Golden Edition VC Cooler 5 Pro for external cooling.
Those are design descriptions and performance claims from REDMAGIC, not proof that gold alone produces cooler temperatures or higher frame rates. Results depend on the whole thermal system, fan and software tuning, room temperature, game workload and whether the external cooler is used. As of August 18, 2026, REDMAGIC’s official product page marks the 24GB/1TB Golden Saga out of stock, and its collections page marks it sold out. Old preorder stories and cached pages reflect the 2025 launch, not present inventory.
A reseller or secondhand listing may exist, but verify the exact Golden Saga model, 24GB/1TB configuration, included cooler, regional network bands, warranty, return policy and software-update status before paying. REDMAGIC’s compatibility checker can help with frequency bands, but band compatibility by itself does not guarantee formal carrier approval. Warranty and return terms can depend on region and sales channel.

Who is it for—and who should skip it?
Collectors and REDMAGIC fans
The Saga makes the most sense for someone who specifically values the materials, limited-edition finish, exclusive packaging and accessories. Its premium is primarily about collectability and presentation rather than a wholly different gaming platform.
Mobile gamers focused on value
For gaming performance per dollar, the standard REDMAGIC 10 Pro or a newer model is the more rational place to compare. REDMAGIC’s collection showed the regular 10 Pro from $599 and the 10S Pro from $609, both marked sold out in the listing snapshot; those are not assurances of current stock. A newer REDMAGIC 11 Pro was listed from $699 in the global phone collection.
