Yes—the feature combination is real, but the name depends on where you buy it. China’s REDMAGIC 11 Pro+ pairs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with an active liquid-cooling system, a 7,500mAh battery, up to 120W wired charging and up to 80W wireless charging. In the U.S. and other global markets, the corresponding phone is branded REDMAGIC 11 Pro; its official listing specifies the same processor, AquaCore cooling, 7,500mAh battery and up to 80W for both wired and wireless charging.
That distinction matters: “11 Pro+” is not the universal global model name, and the Chinese Pro+’s 120W wired figure should not be applied to the global Pro.
China Pro+ vs. global Pro: the important differences

The global U.S. product page listed configurations from 12GB RAM/256GB storage through 24GB/1TB and a $749 price when checked in the supplied August 2026 information; price, stock and configurations can change. China listings cited prices of ¥5,699 for 12GB/256GB, ¥6,499 for 16GB/512GB and ¥7,699 for 24GB/1TB. These are region-specific listings, not directly comparable offers: taxes, availability, warranty and import costs differ.

What REDMAGIC means by liquid cooling
AquaCore is an internal thermal system, not a reservoir for owners to refill and not an external radiator. REDMAGIC describes a circulating liquid loop working with Composite Liquid Metal 3.0, a large vapor chamber and a high-speed fan. Its comparison page lists a 13,116mm² 3D vapor chamber and a 24,000-rpm turbofan. The company calls the system the first mass-produced smartphone cooling system to combine actively flowing liquid with these other cooling components; that “first” is a manufacturer claim, not an independently audited industry finding.
The design’s purpose is to move heat away from the processor and distribute or dissipate it through several mechanisms. It does not make heat disappear: the phone must ultimately release it to the surrounding air. Nor does the presence of circulating liquid prove a specific improvement in frame rate, surface temperature or throttling. Those outcomes depend on the game, settings, room temperature, fan mode, firmware and duration of play.
Independent reviews describe the liquid-channel and micropump approach, but the practical question is sustained behavior, not just peak benchmark numbers. Android Central discusses the cooling design in its REDMAGIC 11 Pro review; TechRadar reports strong game performance while expressing caution about how fully the system can prevent limitations in extended sessions in its review. For a gaming phone, useful comparisons should distinguish performance at launch from results after 15–30 minutes and longer, frame-time consistency, outside temperature, fan noise and whether the phone is charging. “No throttling” is not a safe conclusion from the cooling architecture alone.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5: powerful, but not the whole story
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the main processor and graphics platform. REDMAGIC lists Oryon CPU cores reaching up to 4.6GHz and an Adreno GPU, alongside its separate RedCore R4 gaming-oriented chip. The global configurations include up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage.
Those components provide a high-end foundation for demanding Android games, multitasking and supported high frame rates. They cannot guarantee that every game runs at 144 frames per second: game optimization and frame-rate caps matter, as do resolution, graphics settings, thermals, Game Space configuration, battery state and network latency. Enabling the fan may help manage heat, but brings noise and power-use trade-offs.
What 80W wireless charging does—and does not—promise
REDMAGIC lists wireless charging at up to 80W for both the global Pro and China Pro+. That is a maximum under compatible conditions, not a promise that any Qi charging pad will deliver 80W. You need a compatible high-output wireless charger and suitable power adapter; a generic pad may charge much more slowly. Heat, battery percentage, alignment, case thickness, ambient temperature and phone use can all affect the rate.

Charging also normally tapers as a battery approaches full, so 80W is not a constant rate from empty to 100%. Wireless charging tends to generate more heat than wired charging. The phone’s cooling hardware is relevant to thermal management, but there is no basis to claim it makes wireless charging lossless or eliminates heat-related slowdowns. Gaming while wirelessly charging can add another heat source and reduce the practical benefit of the headline maximum.

- Battery: The listed 7,500mAh capacity is generous for a gaming-focused phone, though actual endurance varies substantially with brightness, refresh rate, network conditions, game load and fan use.
REDMAGIC lists an IPX8 rating and describes a dust-protection design. IPX8 is a water-ingress rating under specified test conditions; the “X” means no dust-ingress rating is specified in that classification. Do not read it as conventional IP6X dustproof certification or proof that the phone is rugged in every respect.

Everyday-phone trade-offs and import checks
The hardware is aimed first at gaming. A built-in fan can make sustained play more practical, but can be audible and may collect dust over time. The chassis and cooling hardware may also make the phone less convenient for buyers who want a light, understated device. A 50MP main and ultrawide camera setup, 2MP auxiliary camera and 16MP under-display selfie camera are listed; those numbers alone do not establish camera quality comparable to mainstream camera-focused flagships.
The global specification says eSIM is not supported. Before buying any model, check supported bands against your carrier. If importing the China Pro+, also verify Google Play and Google services, Android Auto, banking and DRM behavior, notification reliability, language options, warranty and repair arrangements, charger compatibility, seller authorization and return terms. Region-specific software and network behavior can make an imported phone a poor fit even when the core gaming hardware is attractive.
For current details, use the global spec sheet and compare its listed bands with the carrier’s requirements. Do not assume that a China-market listing or an unofficial band comparison guarantees service on a particular network.
Who should consider it?
The global REDMAGIC 11 Pro is a compelling candidate for players who prioritize sustained gaming hardware, a large battery, high-refresh display, shoulder controls, wired audio and fast charging. Emulation and Android gaming enthusiasts may also value the combination of triggers, headphone jack and large memory configurations.
Be more cautious if camera quality, light weight, quiet operation, eSIM, long-term software support or straightforward mainstream warranty service matters more than gaming features. U.S. buyers who want fewer regional uncertainties should favor the official global model over a China import, while still checking carrier bands and current support terms. The official global product page and REDMAGIC’s product announcement provide the manufacturer’s current positioning; stock and pricing should be checked directly because both can change.
