CONTROL Resonant launched worldwide
Remedy announced that CONTROL Resonant is available worldwide from September 24, 2026. The digital release is on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Remedy also announced physical Standard and SteelBook editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, scheduled for October 15, 2026. The Standard edition includes the base game; the SteelBook edition adds a case, three fine art prints, and a key art poster.
The sequel follows Dylan Faden as he faces a paranatural crisis in a reality-warped Manhattan, wielding the shapeshifting melee weapon Aberrant. Remedy Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen said new players do not need to know the first game to start the sequel. Remedy developed and published the game, with Annapurna Pictures co-financing and co-producing it through a strategic partnership. Remedy’s release announcement has the platform and edition details.

Max Payne 1&2 remake remains in full production
In its August 11, 2026 portfolio update, Remedy listed the Max Payne 1&2 remake as being in full production, with Rockstar Games as publisher. Remedy’s project catalog identifies Max Payne as a partner franchise: Rockstar owns the franchise and IP, while Remedy develops the remake.
Remedy receives development fees and may earn royalties only after Rockstar recoups development, marketing, and other costs associated with distribution and publishing. Neither the August report nor the project page establishes a release date or year, so no launch window is confirmed by these sources.

Remedy’s unnamed project is at production readiness
The same August report lists a “New project” at production readiness and names Remedy Entertainment as publisher. Remedy has not disclosed its title, franchise, genre, platforms, or release year in the cited investor materials. There is not enough official information here to identify it more specifically.
Alan Wake games: sales milestone and ongoing catalog activity
Remedy reported that Alan Wake 2 exceeded 3 million lifetime copies sold during Q2 2026. This is the company’s figure for that quarter, not a current total beyond the period reported. Remedy said consumer sales for Alan Wake 2 continued at an expected pace alongside Alan Wake Remastered; royalties for both games in Q2 came entirely from consumer sales, without platform-deal accruals.

Remedy’s investor catalog lists Control, released in 2019, and FBC: Firebreak, released in 2025, as Remedy-owned, Remedy-published games in the Control franchise. The H1 report says Control maintained sales momentum in Q2 2026.

The report’s year-over-year revenue comparison distinguishes Firebreak’s launch-period contribution from its later earnings: the prior-year comparison period included launch revenue and initial subscription-service accruals, while most Firebreak sales revenue in Q2 2026 was accrued from subscription-service agreements. Remedy does not provide a portfolio-wide sales count for either title in the cited report.
