- Resident Evil 4: the main game.
- Separate Ways: an additional scenario told from Ada Wong’s perspective.
- Extra DLC Pack: bonus outfits, weapons, items, a soundtrack swap, and an expansion treasure map, as listed by the PlayStation Store.
Capcom’s release report and the PlayStation Store listing describe this core bundle. Capcom’s March 13, 2024 release report also noted that Resident Evil 4 had passed seven million units sold worldwide as of December 31, 2023. That milestone is for the game overall, not Gold Edition sales.
Release date and platforms
The “launches next week” wording is historical: Gold Edition launched on February 9, 2024. Official listings establish availability on PS4 and PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Capcom explicitly says the edition is not compatible with Xbox One.

On the US PlayStation Store, one digital purchase entitles buyers to both the PS4 and PS5 versions. Confirm the version and platform details on your local store page before buying.
Check your library before buying
The game and add-ons can also be purchased individually. If you already own Resident Evil 4, Separate Ways, or any of the Extra DLC Pack content, compare your library with the bundle contents to avoid paying for items you already have. The PlayStation Store warns buyers about possible duplicate purchases.

Price and stock vary by region and can change. The US PlayStation Store showed $49.99 on October 8, 2026; a time-limited offer displayed on that listing had ended on September 24, 2026, so it was no longer active when checked. Check your local storefront for the current price.

That detail applies to the Japanese listing; packaging and code-region terms may differ elsewhere.
