Those dates have passed, so check the live Game Pass catalog before subscribing or starting either game; third-party titles can later leave.
The announcement, published March 17, also covered ten other releases arriving between March 17 and April 7 across Xbox, PC, cloud and handheld platforms.
At a glance: the two headline games
| Game | Announced date | Platforms listed by Xbox | Tiers listed by Xbox |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disco Elysium – The Final Cut | March 19, 2026 | Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC | Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass |
| Resident Evil 7: Biohazard | March 31, 2026 | Cloud, console, PC | Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass |
These platform and tier labels come from Microsoft’s March 17 announcement. “Console” is Xbox’s wording for Resident Evil 7; it does not, by itself, confirm Xbox One support. Disco Elysium is explicitly listed for Xbox Series X|S.
What each game offers
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Resident Evil 7 is a first-person survival-horror chapter set in rural America. Xbox highlights exploration, atmosphere and close-range encounters. Pick it if you want a focused horror experience with direct action and tension. It introduces a new setting and perspective while remaining part of the Resident Evil series, rather than being unrelated to it.

What left Game Pass

How to check availability now
- Open the Xbox app or the current Game Pass catalog.
- Search for the exact title, including “The Final Cut” for Disco Elysium.
- Confirm that the game is included in your region and subscription tier.
- Check the device label before assuming Xbox console, PC, cloud or handheld support.
- If the listing says it is leaving soon, use the member purchase discount if you want permanent access.
Cloud play also depends on supported regions, devices, network quality and the live catalog. The March announcement does not specify launch times, download sizes, performance targets, achievement details, accessibility matrices, DLC inclusion or identical cloud features across devices.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is Game Pass worth it for these additions?
Subscription access is useful when you expect to sample several games or want cloud play. It is less compelling if you want only one title permanently or your device is not covered by the selected plan. Microsoft’s April 21, 2026 update listed U.S. prices of $22.99 per month for Ultimate and $13.99 per month for PC Game Pass; prices may vary by region. Check the official Game Pass page for your market, and do not assume that either headline game remains included months after its announced date.
