What should you do if you still can’t join a game?
Roblox Support recommends checking the status page, waiting a few moments, and trying to join again. Service disruptions can cause lag or delays on the website, platform, or apps, as well as delays in receiving purchase products.
- If the status page reports an incident, wait for Roblox to resolve it and retry later.
- If the page says systems are operational but your problem persists, the remaining issue may be specific to your account, experience, app, or connection rather than a platform-wide outage.
Roblox’s guidance is to wait and retry a failed join; the October 5 incident record does not point to a router, cable, or other hardware fix. See Roblox Support’s “Is Roblox down?” guidance.

No cause is given in the October 5 incident entry. Roblox’s 2025 annual report describes general risks that can contribute to service outages or degradation, including maintenance or technology changes, infrastructure capacity constraints, disasters, data-center or third-party dependencies, and cyber events. Those are broad risk disclosures, not an explanation of this specific incident. Roblox’s 2025 annual report does not establish which, if any, applied on October 5.
