It has ended, and the official Roblox experience page now says, “There are currently no running experiences,” so its quests, badges, and event rewards cannot currently be earned.
What was Roblox: The Haunt?
The Haunt was a Roblox Presents Halloween promotion built around a shared event hub, avatar fashion, collectible rewards, and the curse of the Headless Horseman. Roblox’s official description said: “From October 24 to November 1, you all showed up in your most fearsomely inspired styles, claimed troves of exclusive items, and faced the curse of the Headless Horseman.”
That makes The Haunt a digital, avatar-focused seasonal event rather than a separately released game or a physical Halloween attraction.
When did The Haunt start and end?
Roblox announced the event in a Halloween preview published on October 16, 2024. The event itself was scheduled for October 24 through November 1, 2024. The November 1 end date applies to the event window; it is not an indication that the hub or its reward tasks remain available afterward.

Can you still play The Haunt on Roblox?
No. The event is concluded. The official Roblox experience listing currently reports, “There are currently no running experiences.” You should not expect to enter the old hub, complete its tasks, or claim its event-exclusive badges and avatar items now.
A later Roblox Halloween promotion may return with a different title, hub, dates, and reward rules. A future event should be treated as a separate experience rather than a continuation of The Haunt.

How participation worked during the event
The event hub
Players entered a central Roblox hub that organized the Halloween activities and rewards. The hub was the main starting point for checking what remained to be completed.
The Tracker
An in-hub Tracker monitored event-exclusive badges and rewards. During the live window, players used it to see available tasks and their progress, then returned to claim rewards when requirements were met.

Avatar-photo activities
The Haunt also emphasized taking elaborate, spooky, or whimsical photos of Roblox avatars. Coverage of the event highlighted photo submissions as a central activity, so dressing an avatar and composing a themed image was part of the promotion—not merely an optional screenshot feature.
Badges and avatar items
Rewards included badges and exclusive avatar items. The available tasks and the ability to claim those rewards were tied to the event’s active dates; there is no current method to earn them through the ended hub.

How The Haunt compares with a later Roblox Halloween event
Roblox’s 2025 Halloween Spotlight illustrates how seasonal events can change from year to year. It used a Cursed Clearing hub, more than 30 participating games, quests involving runes and keys, and exclusive avatar items. The comparison below is about event design, not a claim that The Haunt was still active in 2025.
