Match the code to the exact region, landmark, and lock type: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 keypad combinations are location-specific, and the Cost of Hope DLC has its own additional locks. The lists below are guide-reported, not independently tested. If a number fails, check the named landmark, whether you are at a nearby but different lock, and whether the relevant quest or DLC mission applies.

Quest-sensitive Lab X-18 codes
AllThings. How ties the two Lab X-18 codes to the Unfinished Business sequence. Its walkthrough says the quest becomes available at the Slag Heap after Hot on the Trail and disappears once A Minor Incident begins. It also says clues in the lab point to the combinations.
- 2012: sealed door in the Lab X-18 elevator lobby.
- 2865: supply room near Professor Mikheyev.
That timing and quest relationship are guide-reported. If the keypad will not accept a code, first confirm that you are at the specific lock and that the quest stage matches the walkthrough.

Nearby Iron Forest locks are not interchangeable
Lootmap’s guide, updated August 25, 2026, cross-checks six Iron Forest combinations: Kurin basement 9527, Builder Camp 1986, the electrical-puzzle hut 1909, Faraday area 5043, SWYD-West checkpoint 3546, and the optional later-mission locker 8536. It identifies game build 24914692 for that guide. Its walkthrough distinguishes the optional 8536 blue locker from an earlier 3008 mission door. Confirm the actual lock and environmental clue before using either number.

KeenGamer describes 1986 as securing a Berill-5M suit at Builder Camp in southeastern Iron Forest. For 9527, it directs players through the main building basement and a broken wall, reporting an artifact, memory card, weapon, ammunition, and supplies. It places 5724 in a small brick utility building north of Kurin.
Entering a code and checking a mismatch
- Interact with the keypad on the named door, safe, locker, or stash room.
- Enter the digits in order, preserving leading zeroes where shown—for example, 0505, 0690, 030794, or 0666.
- If you mistype, AllThings. How says the keypad’s red X control deletes digits; clear the entry and try again.
- If the code is rejected, compare the landmark and lock type against the table. Nearby doors and safes can have different combinations.
- For quest or DLC locks, verify that the relevant sequence or mission context applies rather than treating every listed number as universal.
Use PDA clues for other caches
GSC Game World’s official gameplay FAQ says caches can contain medicine, food, ammunition, and potentially more valuable items, and that picking up dead stalkers’ PDAs can reveal cache markers. This is useful for finding caches, but the FAQ is not a source for keypad codes. It also says manual saves are generally possible except during combat or when the story prohibits saving.
