Will it work in a PCIe 4.0 PC?
Yes. The 990 PRO is designed for PCIe 4.0 x4 systems and is a sensible fit for gaming desktops, laptops with a compatible M.2 slot, content-creation PCs and other machines that do not need Gen5 bandwidth. It is also backward-compatible in principle with older PCIe generations, though performance will be limited by the host interface and system support.

Will it work in a PlayStation 5?
The 990 PRO’s PCIe 4.0 interface and 2TB capacity suit the PS5’s expansion-storage requirements, but this particular listing has no heatsink.
