What you get for $328.99
The G50SF is a flat 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 2,560 × 1,440 resolution. Samsung lists a 0.03 ms GtG response time, 1,000,000:1 static contrast, HDR10 support, and 99% DCI color coverage. Those specifications make it a QHD OLED option for gaming, but the published brightness figures are modest: 200 cd/m² typical and 190 cd/m² minimum. Samsung’s cited materials do not give a peak-brightness figure, so there is no basis here for estimating its peak HDR brightness.
Refresh rate and connections
The maximum refresh rate depends on which input you use: the monitor supports up to 180 Hz over DisplayPort and 144 Hz over HDMI. Its connections are one DisplayPort 1.2 input, one HDMI 2.0 input, and a headphone jack. There is no USB-C input or USB hub.
For someone comparing OLED gaming monitors, the key trade-off is speed and connectivity. The G5 costs less than the faster alternatives cited in the deal report, but its 180 Hz ceiling and DP 1.2/HDMI 2.0 ports are older or slower specifications than those alternatives offer. Use DisplayPort if you want the G5’s full 180 Hz refresh rate.

The Acer was reported at a lower price and higher refresh rate, while the MSI was reported at a slightly higher price with 240 Hz and newer input standards. The available comparison does not establish equivalent brightness, warranty terms, or other specifications across all three models, so price and refresh rate alone are not a complete picture of value.

Warranty and OLED care
Samsung’s specification sheet describes a three-year warranty and says burn-in at normal usage is covered within the warranty, excluding commercial abuse or misuse. Review the warranty terms applicable to your purchase and use, particularly if the monitor will be used commercially. Samsung also lists thermal modulation, logo and taskbar detection, and a screen saver among the panel-care features.

The reported $328.99 offer is for a new unit sold by Amazon. The page also showed a cheaper Amazon Resale open-box offer and a separate store-card price; neither is the same condition and cash-price offer. The deal report gave no end date, so the discount should not be treated as guaranteed to last.
