Pull The Herta if you want an Ice Erudition damage dealer built around enhanced multi-target Skills and marks applied by allied attacks; pull Aglaea if you want a Lightning Remembrance damage dealer whose memosprite attacks autonomously and scales with Speed. Neither is a universal winner. The better choice depends on which combat style and character best complement your account—and whether either is actually on the live Warp schedule.
What separates The Herta from Aglaea?
HoYoverse describes The Herta as a five-star Ice Erudition character and a multi-target damage dealer. Her Skill can be enhanced, and while she is on the field, allied attacks apply special marks to enemies; more stacks of those marks increase her damage. HoYoverse’s Version 3.0 announcement outlines this kit.
Aglaea is a five-star Lightning Remembrance character whose damage revolves around her memosprite, Garmentmaker. It can attack autonomously and continuously gain Speed. Aglaea and Garmentmaker’s ATK increase as their Speed increases, and after Aglaea uses her Ultimate, they can launch a joint attack, according to the same Version 3.0 announcement.
| Character | Official role | Combat focus |
|---|---|---|
| The Herta | Five-star Ice Erudition | Enhanced multi-target Skill damage; allied attacks apply marks that increase her damage as stacks build. |
| Aglaea | Five-star Lightning Remembrance | Garmentmaker’s autonomous attacks and growing Speed; Aglaea and the memosprite gain ATK as their Speed increases, with a joint attack after her Ultimate. |
Aglaea’s official HoYoWiki entry also says she and Garmentmaker gain 20% Lightning RES PEN while Aglaea is in Supreme Stance. That is a specific part of her kit, not proof that she outperforms The Herta overall.

Which one fits your account and teams better?
Choose The Herta if her attack-and-mark loop suits you
The Herta’s defining feature is how allied attacks help build marks on enemies while she is on the field. If that multi-target, enhanced-Skill approach appeals to you, and you want to add her Ice Erudition role to your roster, she is the more natural fit. The official description establishes the mechanic, but does not name ideal teammates or establish a roster-specific performance ranking.
Choose Aglaea if you prefer a memosprite-centered damage loop
Aglaea’s defining feature is working with Garmentmaker: the memosprite attacks on its own and builds Speed, while both its and Aglaea’s ATK rise with Speed. If you enjoy that linked, autonomous-attacker style and want a Lightning Remembrance character, Aglaea is the more natural fit. Her official kit description does not establish a universal best team or account-specific pull value.

Use roster fit and preference as tie-breakers
There is no source-backed universal winner between them. Consider which role and mechanics add something you want to your existing teams, which character you actually want to play, and how much of your Warp budget you can spare. Those are account-specific decisions, not a claim that one character is stronger in current endgame content.

Availability changes with the live Warp schedule. HoYoverse’s Version 3.3 announcement documented historical reruns in 2025: The Herta appeared in the first half and Aglaea in the second. That past schedule does not establish their current availability.
