In Sniper Elite: Resistance, the 21 weapons in the standard campaign list unlock through starting equipment, mission completion, Kill List challenges, and Propaganda challenges. Workbenches chiefly unlock attachments and customization options, while DLC and edition bonuses are separate from campaign rewards.

Kill List challenges and weapon rewards
For these rewards, the specified method matters: simply eliminating the target does not meet the challenge condition. GameSpot’s guide lists the seven challenges below. Save before attempting a scripted kill so you can retry if the setup does not register. Source: GameSpot

GameSpot’s January 23, 2025 article reported that its author had not successfully completed the Mission 7 poison interaction at that time. That dated account does not establish whether the challenge is currently bugged.

What workbenches unlock
Workbenches are easy to confuse with weapon-model unlocks. Rebellion’s launch guide quotes Lead Level Designer Beck Shaw saying that weapon unlocks can be earned by finding workbenches hidden in campaign maps. The official PlayStation description and a later workbench guide clarify the function: interacting with benches unlocks customization and attachments for rifles, secondaries, and pistols, including scopes, stocks, barrels, and magazines. Push Square reports 22 workbenches across the eight main missions, and says discovered benches can be tracked in the Service Record. That is a workbench count, not a count of weapon models.
Propaganda Mission rewards
Finding a hidden Resistance poster in each of the eight main campaign missions unlocks a separate Propaganda Mission. These are repeatable, time-limited challenges in stealth, combat, or sniping; high scores can earn medals and weapons. The M1912 requires completing all three Propaganda challenge types, while the Mosin-Nagant M91/30 requires completing all Sniping Propaganda Missions. Xbox Wire launch guide · GamingBolt unlock guide

Additional weapons are sold or distributed separately from the standard campaign unlocks. Store catalogs change, and access can depend on platform, region, edition, and whether a pack is free or paid; owning the base game does not by itself establish access to every add-on.
