Soccerina of Time is an unofficial Nintendo 64 ROM hack that turns The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time into a Hyrule-themed soccer game. Its reported clubs include Kokiri FC and Zora United, and one of its stranger creations can pair a Cucco head with Ganondorf’s torso and Princess Ruto’s legs.
What is Soccerina of Time?
Created by Shon J, Soccerina of Time reworks Ocarina of Time as a soccer game, assigning familiar characters to positions on the pitch. It is a fan-made project, not an official Nintendo game or release. Nintendo Wire’s September 30, 2026 report describes it as a Nintendo 64 ROM hack.
The premise extends beyond putting Zelda characters in a match: reports describe clubs and venues drawn from Hyrule, alongside customization and league-style systems.
Which teams and venues are reported?
Dexerto’s October 1, 2026 report names these clubs:

Reported venues include the Fire Temple, Graveyard, Castle Exterior, and Horseback Archery Range. These names and features come from coverage of a project in development; the reports do not establish whether every club or venue is available in every build.
How does the character creator work?
The reported creator lets players combine body parts and animations taken from different character models. Nintendo Wire gives one example: a Cucco head, Ganondorf torso, Princess Ruto legs, and Talon’s running animation. The result is a deliberately mismatched Hyrule character rather than a standard roster appearance.

What features are described?
Coverage mentions position assignment, slide tackles, scoring cutscenes, a league and injury system, match history, career statistics, and standings. These are reported features, not independently tested here, and descriptions may refer to different builds.

Nintendo Wire reported that a video showed 30 minutes of gameplay from build 0.1 and that build 0.3 had since been released. The same report points readers to a dedicated Soccerina of Time channel on the Hylian Modding Discord for the project. Because development is ongoing and the information is dated September 30, 2026, check that channel for current build status and access instructions rather than assuming 0.3 is still the latest.

A Zelda Central fan-game listing also links to a Discord download page, but says the base ROM’s region and revision are unconfirmed on that listing. The coverage does not establish a compatible emulator, controller, or hardware setup. Follow the project’s current instructions and use only a game copy you are legally entitled to use; the listing is not confirmation of a particular setup or ROM compatibility.
