Use a tier list to spot broadly strong Soul Strike allies, not to dictate your next upgrade. Your best investment is the ally who fills a real gap in your team, works with its build, and is realistically obtainable and developable.
What the current tier list can—and cannot—tell you
Pocket Gamer’s Soul Strike tier list is marked updated October 4, 2026, and identifies itself as version 3.2.6. It says the list draws on the author’s experience and community information, and notes that “no tier list is absolute.” It is an editorial snapshot, not an official developer ranking or a controlled comparison.

The page describes S-tier allies as capable of carrying across stages, while lower-ranked allies may be more useful in early or mid stages. That is the page’s broad rationale, not a guarantee that an S-tier ally is the right upgrade for every account. Its examples illustrate why roles matter: Charlotte deals area damage, reduces enemy Earth resistance, and can provide healing through King Slime; Felino reduces enemy defense and applies bleed.
How to choose an investment for your roster
1. Identify the gap you need to fill
Before comparing rankings, decide what is holding your team back: damage, healing, support, debuffs, crowd control, or another role. A highly ranked ally may add less value than one who supplies a missing effect or improves the performance of allies you already use.

2. Check how the ally fits your build
Ally effects can interact with other build components. Com2uS describes Ran as damaging all enemies, stunning them, and increasing allies’ critical damage. Its Origin Orb relic notice describes a chance to reduce the cooldown of a skill that has been used. Consider whether an ally’s skills complement the skills and relics you can actually field; these examples do not establish that one combination is universally optimal.
3. Match element-specific value to your team
Element-focused strengths are most relevant when they support the team you are building. In a Com2uS update describing Cecilia, the publisher says she is effective in wind-element decks; awakening adds attacks and reductions to defense and wind resistance. That makes her described value relevant to a wind-focused build, rather than an automatic reason to invest regardless of roster.

4. Weigh availability against waiting
Some acquisition opportunities have involved player choice. A historical Master Pick custom pickup notice described selecting three allies for a pickup and selection tickets connected to a community-voted top three. That notice does not establish what is available now, so check the current in-game pickup before delaying an investment in hopes of obtaining a particular ally.
5. Compare who you can develop
Official notices describe progression systems including awakening, unique transcendence, and companion keepsakes. Compare an ally’s development state with your alternatives, and check current in-game requirements before committing scarce resources. The notices do not provide a complete upgrade-cost table or a universally optimal investment sequence.

A practical decision rule
- Write down the specific problem your current team needs to solve.
- Shortlist allies you own or can realistically obtain that address that problem.
- Compare their role, element fit, interaction with your build, and development state.
- Use the tier list as a broad performance signal or a tie-breaker between suitable options—not as a replacement for those checks.
- Reconsider when the roster, your team, or the game’s balance changes.
This is a roster-based way to make the decision, not an in-game formula. The available sources do not establish controlled comparisons across account progress or a universal priority order.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
