Which Spider-Man characters appear?
Peter Parker and Miles Morales were reported as unlockable bots in Winter Wonder, the free level released on December 12, 2024. To access Winter Wonder, Team Asobi said players needed to have completed the game and to be connected to the internet so the update could appear. The game is a PS5 release.

Which Final Fantasy characters appear?

The available explanation is limited. When asked about Final Fantasy’s absence, Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet said, “We really respect the choice of each publisher.” That does not establish that Square Enix refused a specific cameo, that negotiations failed, or that a legal or technical barrier was responsible. In a separate September 2024 PlayStation interview, Doucet described Astro Bot as a tribute to PlayStation history and discussed working with PlayStation Studios on cameos. He said he initially expected around 50 of the 150 characters the team wanted to feature to be included, then said PlayStation Studios agreed to all 150.
