To claim Luminalia gifts, use the official RSI event page for the edition currently running; to find missions in Star Citizen, open mobiGlas with F1, choose Contracts Manager, and inspect available offers. If RSI announces global event missions, look in Contracts Manager’s Priority tab. Luminalia 2955 had a 13-day daily-gift calendar, but the 2026 dates, rewards, and missions have not been confirmed by the official sources cited here.
What Luminalia is—and when it happens
Luminalia is an annual holiday celebrated by Banu and Humans on December 22. The official Galactapedia entry traces it to the Banu festival tsikti efanga, or “Glow Festival,” and describes gift exchanges, present hunts, decorations, food, and gatherings. RSI’s 2020 event guide also explains the holiday’s gift-giving tradition.
How to get Luminalia rewards
Check the current RSI event page
RSI’s November–December 2025 monthly report confirms that Luminalia 2955 featured a 13 Days of Luminalia calendar with daily gifts, along with a greeting-card contest. The report establishes what happened in that edition; it does not confirm that the same format or rewards will return. For any edition, use its live official event page and follow the instructions there. Older calendar pages and claim windows may no longer be active.
As of October 8, 2026, the official sources cited here do not establish Luminalia 2026’s exact dates, reward list, eligibility rules, or claim process. Check RSI’s current Comm-Link announcements rather than assuming last year’s gifts or dates apply.

Distinguish website gifts from in-game activities
A daily gift calendar on an RSI event page is different from a mission you accept inside Star Citizen. RSI’s 2020 guide documented daily gifts through its event page, while its report on the 2955 edition confirms a daily-gift calendar without specifying that later edition’s exact claim steps. Use the relevant edition’s instructions for account-level gifts; use Contracts Manager for in-game contracts.
How to find and accept in-game missions
- Open mobiGlas by pressing F1 by default.
- Choose Contracts Manager.
- Review the available categories and select VERIFIED or UNVERIFIED.
- Choose an offer and read its task, issuer, reward, and time limit before accepting.
- Select ACCEPT OFFER when you are ready to take the contract.
These interface steps come from RSI Support’s Missions and Contracts guide, updated June 22, 2025. RSI notes that unverified offers are unofficial, so inspect their details carefully. Labels or menus may change with a game update; if they do, follow the current in-game interface.

Where to look for event-wide missions
When an event includes global missions, RSI says they appear in Contracts Manager’s Priority tab. Such missions may be available to all players who accept them on a server, with progress tied to combined participation. This describes how global missions work when offered; it does not confirm that Luminalia 2026 has one. Check RSI’s event announcement for confirmation before looking for a specific Luminalia mission.

For Luminalia 2950, RSI described in-game activities involving wrapped gift boxes around New Babbage: players could find and sell them at trading kiosks, or take delivery work transporting gift boxes. These are historical examples from the 2950 event guide, not confirmation that those activities remain available or will appear in 2026.
