Angekündigt sind eine Einzelspielerkampagne, Arcade-Events und Online-PvP. Steam führt außerdem Cross-Platform-Multiplayer auf. Ist Galactic Racer schon getestet?
Nein – jedenfalls liegt zum Stichtag 3. Oktober 2026 kein Test der veröffentlichten Fassung vor, weil das Spiel erst am 6. Oktober erscheinen soll. Xbox Wire veröffentlichte eine Hands-on-Vorschau, deren Autor rund eine Stunde in einem Vorab-Build mit Kampagne und Arcade-Modus verbrachte. Er beschreibt die Rennen als herausfordernd und unterhaltsam und sieht Tiefe sowie Wiederspielwert. Das ist eine persönliche Einschätzung zu begrenzter Vorab-Spielzeit, keine Wertung der finalen Version.
Ein belastbarer Test müsste unter anderem klären, wie deutlich sich die vier Fahrzeugklassen unterscheiden, wie fair Kollisionen und Überholmanöver funktionieren und wie abwechslungsreich die Strecken und Runs sind. Ebenso offen sind Umfang und Erzählkraft der Kampagne, der Einfluss von Fortschritt und Anpassungen auf die Balance sowie Stabilität, Bildrate und Ladezeiten auf den einzelnen Plattformen. Bei Online-Partien wären Matchmaking, Spielersuche und langfristige Motivation zu prüfen. Zu diesen Punkten belegen die verfügbaren Vorab-Angaben keine abschließenden Ergebnisse.

Digital sind Standard und Deluxe gelistet. Laut Steam enthält die Deluxe Edition drei Fahrzeuge, ein N-1-inspiriertes Livery, drei Arcade-Events, ein Banner und ein digitales Artbook. Die US-PlayStation-Store-Seite nennt 59,99 US-Dollar für Standard und 79,99 US-Dollar für Deluxe; das sind US-Listenpreise und keine deutschen Preise. Regionale Preise und Verfügbarkeit können abweichen.

Welche Barrierefreiheitsoptionen sind angekündigt?
Der US-PlayStation-Store nennt Optionen für visuellen Komfort, Untertitel, visuelle Audiohinweise und die Möglichkeit, ohne Bewegungssteuerung zu spielen.
