To use a Starfield item ID on PC, enter it with the relevant console command—for example, player.additem [item_ID] [quantity] to add an item. A lookup page can help you find codes for weapons, armor, consumables, and resources, but the third-party references cited here do not establish a complete, officially verified list for every game update.
How to look up a Starfield item ID
StarfieldDB’s item reference organizes lookup content into weapons, armor, items, consumables, and resources. Its companion database page also describes ships. Browse to the relevant category, then check the exact record before using its code. The available references do not establish that every category—including mods, perks, and newer or DLC records—is fully represented or current.

How to enter an item ID on PC
- Save your game before using console commands.
- Open the command window on PC with the tilde or apostrophe key, depending on your settings.
- Enter
player.additem [item_ID] [quantity], replacing[item_ID]with the desired code and[quantity]with a number. - Run the command and check your inventory for the item.
For example, the format is player.additem [item_ID] 1 when requesting one copy; replace the bracketed text with an actual code from a lookup reference. StarfieldDB’s console-command guide says to replace the item ID with the code for the weapon, armor, item, or consumable, and the quantity with a numerical value.
#1 Best Overall
- Start your journey by customizing your appearance and deciding your Background and Traits
- Venture through the stars and explore more than 1000 planets
- Pilot and command the ship of your dreams.
See StarfieldDB’s console-command guide. This is a documented command pattern from a third-party source, not a guarantee that every listed code works in every current version.
Commands for perks and weapon mods
Add a skill
The guide gives player.addperk (perk_id) as the pattern for adding a skill. Replace (perk_id) with the relevant perk code.
Rank #2
- Includes: Starfield Standard Edition (Disc)
- Travel to the stars in this next-gen RPG from the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4
- Create a character according to your imagination and explore the endless expanses in unparalleled freedom
- The goal of this epic journey? The answer to humanity's greatest question
Apply or remove a weapon mod
For weapon mods, the guide describes (ref_id).amod (omod_id) to apply a mod and (ref_id).rmod (omod_id) to remove one. These patterns use a reference ID and a mod ID, so do not substitute an item code without confirming it is the right kind of ID.
What to know before using console commands
- Platform: The cited instructions describe opening the console on PC. They do not establish the same workflow for Xbox or other platforms.
- Achievements and saves: StarfieldDB warns that some commands disable achievements and mark the save as modded, and recommends saving first. The guide does not identify every command affected.
- List coverage: The available third-party pages do not establish a fully verified, official, current master list of all item IDs. A rendered database capture showed “No results found” for multiple tables, which is not proof that those tables—or all IDs—are complete or up to date.
- Record counts: Displayed database counts can change with pagination and are not validated totals of every ID in the game.
Choosing an ID reference
When deciding whether to trust a lookup, check its scope and evidence rather than assuming a long list is definitive.
