Which Streamlabs tools are being discontinued?
Streamlabs has announced several feature retirements over time. The affected tools and their timelines are:

Is Streamlabs shutting down?
The notices concern particular features, not a stated shutdown of Streamlabs as a company or all of its products. Streamlabs’ help-center overview, last updated June 12, 2026, describes continuing offerings such as Desktop, Mobile, Console, Cross Clip, alerts, overlays, widgets, and creator features. That overview is general product context, not a corporate-status declaration; for a specific tool, its dated retirement notice is the more relevant source.

What happened to Streamlabs’ branding tools?
In its June 2024 announcement, Streamlabs said YouTube Thumbnails, Emote Maker, Logo Maker, Intro Maker, and Social Reminders would be discontinued. The announcement does not give an access-end date, so there is no supported deadline to rely on here. If one of these tools is still visible in your account, check its current availability there rather than assuming a particular sunset date.
Streamlabs pointed users toward Fiverr for commissioned branding and creative work, including graphics, logos, social media, and video editing. The same 2024 announcement mentioned a 20% discount on a first commissioned order using code STREAMLABSFPG2024. That was historical promotional copy; its current validity is not established, so do not assume the offer still works.

What happened to Streamlabs Music?
Streamlabs Music was removed from the app store on March 6, 2025, so new users could no longer install it. Existing users retained access through the end of March, and the app stopped functioning in Desktop starting April 1, 2025. An installed copy may still appear in Desktop’s interface even though it no longer works; Streamlabs says it can be disabled at Settings > Installed Apps.
Streamlabs says music previously used from its app in past recorded streams and YouTube uploads remains DMCA-free. That statement is specific to past content made with Streamlabs Music; it is not a blanket licensing rule for other music, future uploads, or other services.

Music alternatives Streamlabs named
Streamlabs named Pretzel and Slip.Stream as alternatives. Its support article describes Pretzel as offering a free basic library and paid features such as individual-track interactive mode and playlists. It describes Slip.Stream as offering music and sound effects, with access to its full collection for Streamlabs Ultra subscribers. These are Streamlabs’ descriptions, not an independent assessment or a guarantee that a particular track is cleared for every use.
- Before using a replacement, check the provider’s current license terms for livestreams, recordings, VODs, and monetized uploads.
- If you received a claim, evaluate the specific track, license, platform, and use involved; the old app’s statement about past content does not determine the rights status of other material.

What can replace a retired goal widget?
The notice lists Tip Goal, Follower Goal, Sub Goal, Bits Goal, Super Chat Goal, Streamlabs Charity Donation Goal, and Tiltify Donation Goal as supported goal-widget options for the use cases and platforms it describes. It specifically identifies Sub Goal as a replacement for Supporter Goal and says Twitch streamers can use Bits Goal in place of Facebook Stars Goal.
These are not universal one-for-one replacements: choose a goal that tracks the event and platform you need. Check current compatibility and availability in Streamlabs before rebuilding a scene, since the notice does not provide setup instructions for every integration.

What can replace Game Widget?
For Game Widget users who stream on Twitch, Streamlabs points to its Twitch Extension, which it describes as including minigames, loyalty points, and polls. Confirm that the extension is currently available and fits your channel before depending on it; the notice does not establish equivalent support on other platforms.

- Identify the exact feature. Match the tool’s name to the timelines above; the dates are not interchangeable.
- Save what you can access. Export or keep copies of branding assets and project files if the tool still allows it. For Collectibles, the available summary says prior items remained available, but check your account and current Streamlabs guidance rather than assuming a particular recovery process.
- Choose a replacement by function. For a goal widget, match the event and platform; for music, review licenses; for branding, decide whether you need a new tool or commissioned work.
- Rebuild and test scenes before a scheduled stream. Confirm the replacement displays the intended alert, goal, overlay, or extension in the platform and scene where you use it.
- Remove inactive integrations if they cause confusion. For the retired Music app in Desktop, Streamlabs documents the path Settings > Installed Apps for disabling it.
