His defining trait in the character bio is flight; in Angry Birds 2, he also appears as a spell that pushes objects across a level with a gust of wind. “Ascend to new heights” is therefore a playful hypothetical, not a confirmed upgrade.
What can Mighty Eagle actually do?
Rovio’s official character profile describes Mighty Eagle as a legendary figure whose giant wings make him “the only bird who has ever managed to fly.” That is franchise characterization about flight, not a claim that he can teleport. Rovio’s character profiles also present characters across different versions of the franchise, so the description should not be mistaken for a specific game mechanic.
In Angry Birds 2, he is a spell
In Angry Birds 2, the Mighty Eagle card is a spell. Rovio Support describes it as a powerful gust of wind that sweeps through a level and moves objects to the right, while leaving the sardines safe. That is a level-wide wind effect—not teleportation or ordinary bird flight. Rovio Support’s spell guide provides the official description.
Where the spell is available
Rovio Support says spells are available on Saga maps and in challenges except boss levels. They are disabled in Player Versus Player features, including Arena and Mighty Eagle’s Bootcamp. The help page’s displayed update age is “Last Updated: 1057d,” so check the live game for current availability.

Can Terence teleport in Angry Birds?
The official Rovio materials cited here do not establish that Terence can teleport as a game ability. A scene that looks like a sudden disappearance or jump should be treated as a visual gag or portrayal in its specific animation or continuity unless an official source identifies it as a literal power. The evidence reviewed does not resolve whether any particular Terence appearance is intended to depict teleportation.
Flight, teleportation, and game mechanics are different claims
Flight describes moving through the air; teleportation would mean appearing elsewhere without traversing the space between. Mighty Eagle’s Angry Birds 2 spell is different from both: it sends wind through a level and moves objects rightward. Keep the context attached to the claim—franchise character bio, a named game, or a particular film or animated portrayal—rather than treating every depiction as one universal rule.
