The Forge is the 2024 film associated with Affirm Films, though the title also belongs to unrelated organizations and services. Sony records its North American release on August 23, 2024, and official sample pages confirm an associated Bible study. The sources available here do not establish a plot synopsis, so the film’s story should not be guessed from the title alone.
Which “The Forge” does this refer to?
This article covers the 2024 feature film associated with Affirm Films. “The Forge” is not a unique title: it is also used by an organizing publication, a real-time graphics company, a virtual-tabletop service and Christian organizations. Sony’s release schedule and the film-linked study materials support the film interpretation, but a bare search for the title may lead to a different subject.

What is the film about?
The official materials cited here establish the film’s identity, release date and connection to a Bible study, but do not provide enough supported synopsis detail to explain its plot. A more specific story description would go beyond what these sources establish.

Is there a Bible study for The Forge?
Yes. Sony Pictures and Affirm Films published sample pages for a Bible study associated with the film. The sample describes sessions that use film clips as an entry point for studying Scripture and a related concept.
The Forge Groups describes a separate five-session The Forge Bible Study Book with Video Access, with leader material and personal study. That site explicitly says it has no formal official relationship with the film, the Kendrick Brothers, Provident Films, Sony or other producing organizations. Treat its description as the site’s own resource information, not as an official studio statement. See The Forge Groups’ resource page.
What box-office figure did Sony report?
Sony Group Corporation reported $28 million in North American box office, $0 million internationally and $28 million worldwide through September 30, 2024. Its report marked the film as still in release at that quarter-end. These are figures for that reporting cutoff, not a current lifetime total.
How to identify the right title in search results
If you mean the movie, include “2024 film” or “Affirm Films” in your search. If you mean the game-development company, virtual-tabletop service or another organization, use its full name or product context; the film’s date and Bible-study materials will not identify those other subjects.
