Where to farm Essence
Goblin Cave: a reported option
A fan-maintained Economy Guide reports farming Essence in Goblin Cave as part of an AFK or passive gold-generation approach. It also claims Essence has no stash limit, which would let players accumulate it without returning to town to sell. These are that guide’s claims, not verified current game rules or proof that Goblin Cave is the most efficient Essence farm.
Access may require quest progress: PC Gamer’s Goblin King quest guide reports that completing the fifth Goblin King quest unlocks Goblin Cave in Forgotten Kingdom. Quest chains and maps can change, so confirm the requirement in your current game.

Other enemies mentioned by a user-edited guide
A Fandom gold-farming page names Elite Deathaxe Skeletons, Slimes, Blazing Slimes, Reapers, Common Orcs, Elite Orcs, and Ice Golem as Essence-farming enemies. It does not provide a reliable current comparison of their yields. Regard these as suggestions to check, not an optimized route or a guarantee of a particular drop.
How to compare routes on your build
There is no dependable current drop-rate table or evidence ranking locations by Essence tier. To find what works for your character, compare actual results in the live game rather than relying on a claimed best spot:

- Compare drops per unit of time, taking your own clear speed and downtime into account.
