Ore traits in The Forge add effects to crafted weapons, armor, or both. The 11-trait list below follows TheForgeRoblox.com’s ore-traits guide; it is a handy reference, not a confirmed complete list for the current game build. A broader community ore table covers additional ores and separates some effects by ore share, so check the live game before relying on a particular value or recipe.

The effects and odds are guide-reported, not independently verified or confirmed by the developers. “Chance” means the guide’s reported chance to obtain the ore from the listed rock type, not a trait activation chance.

Why different ore lists show different traits
TheForgeRoblox.com’s page presents 11 traits, while the Fandom Ores table covers a wider selection, including Snowite, Iceite, Voidstar, Heavenite, and Gargantuan. The community table also distinguishes trait strength at 10% and 30% ore share for some entries. Those tiers should not be collapsed into one generic value: a recipe’s ore share can change the listed effect.

The references are not an official, reconciled inventory, and the available material does not establish the definitive trait set, exact current values, or drop rates for the live build. Treat the table above as the narrower guide’s list, not as proof that other ores have no traits. For a wider directory, the TheForgeCalculator wiki is another reference, but it too should be checked against the game.
How to choose an ore trait
- Match the equipment: first confirm whether the trait applies to a weapon, armor, or both. A weapon-only effect will not help an armor recipe.
- Choose the kind of benefit: the listed traits include direct defense, critical chance and movement speed, as well as conditional effects such as poison, burning, explosions and dodging.
- Check the trigger: an extra stat is different from a chance-based proc or a health-threshold effect. Poopite’s reported effect depends on being below 35% health, while several other entries depend on a chance to activate.
- Account for trade-offs and recipe share: Eye Ore is described as exchanging health for damage. In the broader community table, some effects have separate 10% and 30% tiers, and stacking or cooldown rules vary by trait. Do not assume every effect stacks or that a listed high-share value applies at a lower share.
Because the sources disagree in breadth and framing, confirm the current in-game description and recipe behavior before spending scarce ores on a build. A Reddit player’s question about where to look for ore effects illustrates the lookup problem, but is not itself a source of verified mechanics: the discussion.

What the listed odds can—and cannot—tell you
The odds column can help identify which rock types a third-party guide associates with an ore; it does not establish the chance that a trait activates in combat, nor does it guarantee a particular result from mining. For example, the same guide reports Poopite at 1/131 from Pebble, Rock, or Boulder, Rivalite at 1/569 from Basalt Vein or Volcanic Rock, and Darkryte at 1/5,555 from Volcanic Rock. These are guide-reported figures, not official confirmed rates. The broader Fandom table supplies trait details for more ores, but its figures likewise should be treated as community-reference values rather than developer-confirmed statistics.
