The Game Awards reported an estimated 154 million global livestreams for the 2024 show, 31% above the 118 million it reported for 2023. These are livestreams, not a count of unique viewers. The organizer’s December 18, 2024 announcement also cited more than 4 million combined peak concurrent viewers across Twitch, YouTube, and other western platforms, attributing that figure to StreamCharts.
