Standing Stone Games’ September 2026 Update 49.6 notes confirm that players could pre-purchase the expansion, but do not state its launch date.

What is The Wolves of Mordor?
It is an expansion for the existing MMO The Lord of the Rings Online, not a new, separate Lord of the Rings game. The official Update 49.6 description sends players to Draugardh, a distant corner of Mordor, where were-wolves threaten an already uneasy peace. The premise centers on confronting that threat in the new setting.
