How do the chapters and mansion hub work?
The game moves between larger trial environments and a mansion that serves as a hub. Players return to the mansion between chapters and can investigate and solve puzzles there. Fireproof Games describes the mansion puzzles as helping determine the player’s fate and alternate ending.
The developer also describes a new eyepiece ability that lets players explore the world in miniature. That ability is part of the game’s puzzle-solving toolkit, rather than a separate chapter or mode.
The available official information does not establish the exact chapter count or a reliable first-playthrough duration.

Does The Room Three have alternate endings?
Yes. Fireproof Games explicitly says that the mansion puzzles “will decide your fate and determine which of the alternate endings you will experience.” The official game page confirms that outcomes vary, but does not state how many endings there are.
Is The Room Three replayable, and must you replay the whole game?
Different endings give players a reason to explore the game again. However, the developer’s public description does not explain precisely how to reach every ending after the first, whether all endings can be reached in one run, or whether a full-campaign replay is required. Don’t assume either that another ending requires starting over or that it can be selected directly from a menu.

What if the mansion lift or chapter transition is stuck?
Fireproof Games’ official support instructions address a specific progression problem: returning to the mansion and finding an open doorway unusable or the lift missing.
- Pause the game and select Restart Chapter.
- Expect to lose progress on mansion puzzles. Fireproof says found pyramids are retained and completed levels do not need to be repeated.
Fireproof also documents a PC issue in which ending cutscenes freeze or fail to play. If that happens, follow the studio’s current support guidance and contact it with the requested diagnostic information; the support page may include device-specific advice that has since become outdated.
