On PC, press Ctrl + Shift + C to open The Sims 2 cheat bar. Enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, press Enter, then enter a cheat and press Enter again. EA documents this workflow for The Sims 2: Legacy Collection; compatibility with every older release, expansion setup, Mac version, or console version is not established.

How to enter cheats on PC
- Load a household and press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat bar.
- Type
boolprop testingcheatsenabled trueand press Enter. - Type the cheat you want and press Enter.
- To inspect commands available in your installation, enter
help -all. To check one command, enterhelp [cheat name], such ashelp motherlode.
EA’s documented instructions and command descriptions apply to the PC-focused Legacy Collection guide. If a command behaves differently in your edition, use the in-game help output as the authoritative check for that installation.

moveObjects on/off
EA lists moveObjects on/off among the common cheats but does not provide its effect in the referenced summary. Enter help moveObjects in the game to read the description supplied by your installation before using it.

Edition and platform limits
The official instructions cited here are for PC players using The Sims 2: Legacy Collection. They do not establish that every command works identically in all expansion configurations, older PC editions, Mac releases, or console versions. A separate PC reference from GameFAQs corroborates the PC console shortcut and several commands, but EA remains the source for the effects listed above.
