Nature’s Calling Week 4 has two final quests: Echoes From the Cave and Can Plants Whisper? For the cave quest, claim The Wooden Throne reward, reach Handiness Level 10 to open the cave at Desert Bloom Park, then explore Forgotten Grotto. For the PlantSim quest, plant one Magic Bean in a Magic PlantSim Stump. Nature’s Calling was a time-limited 2025 event; check the in-game Event Screen to see whether its quests or rewards are currently available.
Before starting Week 4
EA describes Gameplay Events as limited-time quests that award Event Points and rewards. During an event, the usual route is to open the Events tab, enter Live Mode, follow the quest prompts, and claim rewards on the Event Screen. The original Nature’s Calling run has passed, and the reviewed sources do not confirm that its Week 4 quests can still be started in the current game build.

Build Handiness while working through the quest tasks. The cave objective requires Level 10, so reaching that level before traveling to Desert Bloom Park avoids a return trip. The two Week 4 quests are Echoes From the Cave and Can Plants Whisper?.
How to complete Echoes From the Cave
Claim and craft The Wooden Throne
- Open the Event Screen and claim The Wooden Throne reward. The reward must be claimed before its recipe can be crafted.
- At a woodworking table, choose Craft Furniture > The Wooden Throne and pay §500, as reported by the Week 4 walkthrough. The walkthrough lists Handiness Level 8 as the crafting requirement, while another guide’s discussion does not clearly establish that threshold. If your game shows a different requirement, follow the recipe and quest UI.
- Place the throne and use it to complete the related objective.
Open the cave and reach Forgotten Grotto
- Travel to Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs with Handiness Level 10.
- Select the boarded cave entrance and choose Break Open, then Explore.
- For the reported route through the exploration prompts, choose Take Wide Path > Climb Ladder > Step Onto the Ledge > Travel to Grotto.
- In Forgotten Grotto, take at least one photo using the Sim’s phone camera.
- Leave the grotto and use Share Findings About Forgotten Grotto with two different Sims.
How to complete Can Plants Whisper?
- In Build Mode, buy the Magic PlantSim Stump from Outdoor Activities. The Week 4 guide lists its price as 410 Simoleons.
- Ask two Sims about PlantSims. Each interaction awards a random Magic Bean, according to the walkthrough.
- Select the stump and plant one Magic Bean. One bean completes this event objective; collecting every bean type is a separate goal.
Outdoor time and Horse Ranch optional objectives
A recurring Week 4 task asks your Sim to spend time outdoors. The walkthrough says the associated moodlet expires after three in-game hours outside, so complete the objective while that moodlet is active.

Two additional objectives require The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack: travel to Duke’s Hall in Chestnut Ridge and spectate at the Equestrian Center. These are optional. EA’s event announcement says pack-specific optional goals are not required to finish the event, so they are not prerequisites for the main quest path.

Week 4 guides list The Wooden Throne, Cove Stones, Trail Sandals, Touch Grass Weekly Issue #4, satisfaction points, Sleep Replacement Potion, Want Refresher Potion, Re-Traiting Potion, and 10,000 Simoleons among the rewards. The Wooden Throne must be claimed before crafting it for its quest. EA says event rewards are tied to the EA Account. Build Mode and Create a Sim items can be found by filtering for Special > Event Rewards; consumables and collectibles are claimed in Live Mode and appear in inventory.

To claim an available reward, open the Events screen from the main-menu Events tab or the Live Mode event icon and select Claim. The guides differ in how they count the reward list: one says players can unlock up to 10 rewards when optional objectives are included, while its enumerated list groups some rewards together. For that reason, the list above is more useful than treating a single total as definitive.
