The Stonevault’s route is E.D.N.A. first, then Skarmorak and the Master Machinists in either order, and finally Void Speaker Eirich. This is a legacy guide: Stonevault is not in Blizzard’s Season 3 Mythic+ rotation, so these mechanics and route notes are for Stonevault when it is available, not for a current Season 3 key.
Is The Stonevault in the current Mythic+ rotation?
No. Blizzard’s Season 3 rotation does not include Stonevault. The seven entries are Ara-Kara, The Dawnbreaker, Eco-Dome Al’dani, Halls of Atonement, Operation: Floodgate, Priory of the Sacred Flame, and the two Tazavesh wings. Stonevault appeared in the Season 1 pool, but that is historical context, not evidence that it is currently an active key.

Where is The Stonevault?
The dungeon is in the northern Ringing Deeps near Gundargaz. Wowhead’s 2024 guide lists the entrance at /way 46.8 9.4 and the Gundargaz flight point at /way 46.9 32.8. These are map coordinates, not in-game travel commands unless entered through an appropriate coordinate addon.

Blizzard’s The War Within dungeon overview describes the Ringing Deeps setting and identifies Gundargaz as the nearby flight point.
What is the Stonevault boss order and route?
- Defeat E.D.N.A. This is the fixed opening encounter.
- Choose either middle wing. Defeat Skarmorak or the Master Machinists, Brokk and Dorlita; there is no universally faster or safer order established by the available route information.
- Use the minecart route back. After defeating a middle boss, take the opened minecart track to return toward Central Processing, then proceed through the other middle wing.
- Defeat the remaining middle boss, then Void Speaker Eirich. Eirich is the fixed finale after both middle encounters.

How to handle E.D.N.A.
Control Volatile Spike detonations
Volatile Spikes explode if a player gets too close. E.D.N.A.’s Refracting Beam and Earth Shatterer pulses can also detonate them, so treat spike placement and the boss’s attack direction as linked hazards. Avoid crossing close to spikes, and position so the beam does not cut through them or through the group.

How to handle Skarmorak
Break Crumbling Shell quickly
Crystalline Smash creates Crystal Shards. Later, Skarmorak reclaims nearby material to gain Crumbling Shell, an absorb that must be broken. Breaking the shell briefly stuns and interrupts the boss, making damage on the shield a group priority rather than incidental cleave.
Use Void Empowerment with a healing plan
Void Fragments leave motes that grant Void Empowerment, increasing healing and damage against the shell. The effect also causes periodic damage, so collect it with healer awareness. Void Discharge deals increasing damage as its channel continues; plan mitigation and healing around the channel while still breaking the shell promptly.

How to handle Brokk and Dorlita
Track the cube sequence
Brokk’s Scrap Song sends a cube across the platform. Dorlita relocates and charges it, so watch both the cube’s travel line and its subsequent charge or blast area. Move out of its path and detonation zone instead of focusing only on the bosses.

Keep out of vents and lava
Brokk’s ventilation effects and Flaming Scrap create dangerous floor areas. Dorlita’s Lava Expulsion targets players and leaves a damage-over-time effect. Avoid active vents and lava, spread or move as needed for targeted effects, and be ready to heal unavoidable damage.

Void Corruption inflicts periodic damage that ramps up until removed. Move near a Void Rift to clear the corruption, but do not enter the rift’s lethal center. On Mythic difficulty, a rift moves after consuming corruption, so reassess its location and use the new safe approach rather than returning to its old position.

Which middle wing should you do first?

Optional Imbued Iron Bar buff
Wowhead’s 2024 overview reports an optional interaction at anvils: Warriors, Dwarves, and Khaz Algar Blacksmiths with Blacksmithing skill 25 can receive a 10-minute Versatility buff from an Imbued Iron Bar interaction. Because this is a guide-reported, patch-sensitive detail, check whether it remains available in your game version before planning around it.
