Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Yes—Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is playable on Android without Netflix. Playdigious released the standalone Google Play edition on April 15, 2025. Netflix members still have a separate version included with their subscription, first brought to mobile in January 2023. Because both apps use the same game title, the developer name and business model matter when choosing a download.
The short answer
- Already subscribe to Netflix? Install the Netflix edition from Google Play; the game is included with membership.
- Do not want Netflix? Install the Playdigious Google Play edition. It is free to try, then unlocks the full game through an in-app purchase.
- Use Epic Games Store on Android? Its separate listing is another non-Netflix route. The captured U.S. listing showed $8.99, but prices and promotions vary by region and date.
The standalone Playdigious release is not a brand-new 2026 launch. Playdigious announced it on March 11, 2025, and released it on April 15, 2025: announcement and launch notice.

Netflix, Playdigious and Epic: what is different?
| Edition | Listing/developer | Netflix required? | How access works | Content and online features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Netflix, Inc. — Google Play listing | Yes | Included with an active Netflix membership; no separate game fee, advertising or conventional in-game purchases under Netflix’s games model. | Netflix lists offline play, controller support and online co-op for up to six players. Some features require internet. |
| Standalone Google Play | Playdigious — Google Play listing | No | Free trial, followed by an in-app purchase to unlock the full game. | Complete Edition includes Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles. Do not assume Netflix cloud saves, achievements or progress transfer to this app. |
| Epic Android | Epic Games Store — listing | No indication of a Netflix requirement | Paid storefront purchase; the captured U.S. listing showed $8.99. A separate regional listing showed a temporary promotion ending July 2, 2026. | Epic lists Complete Edition content, controller support and online multiplayer. Store ownership should not be treated as Google Play or Netflix ownership. |
The two Google Play apps have the same title but are separate products. Verify the developer before tapping Install.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
What the mobile Complete Edition includes
The Playdigious materials describe the mobile game as the full beat-’em-up package rather than a reduced companion app:
- The main story campaign across 16 levels.
- Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.
- April O’Neil, Master Splinter and Casey Jones as playable characters.
- The Dimension Shellshock expansion.
- The Radical Reptiles expansion.
- Pixel-art presentation inspired by the 1987 cartoon, associated voice performances and a soundtrack by Tee Lopes.
- Touch controls and Bluetooth controller support.
Playdigious identifies the DLC and edition contents in its launch materials and Google Play listing: launch details and the listing.
How to install the right Android version
Google Play
- Open Google Play and search for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge.
- Check the developer. Choose Netflix, Inc. if you want the subscription edition, or Playdigious for the standalone trial and purchase.
- For Netflix, launch the game through your Netflix-supported profile and sign in when prompted.
- For Playdigious, install the trial, then use its in-app purchase to unlock the complete game.
- Allow the initial download to finish before judging offline availability or performance.
Netflix also documents an in-app route: open Netflix, find the Mobile Games row or Games shortcut, select the game, tap Get Game, and complete installation through Google Play. Instructions and eligibility details are at Netflix Help.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Epic Games Store
Install through Epic’s Android storefront if you already use it or a current regional promotion makes it cheaper. Do not describe the game as permanently free: one captured regional page showed a time-limited discount, while the U.S. listing showed $8.99. Check the live price at Epic’s U.S. listing.

Device requirements and storage
Requirements differ by storefront, so use the listing for the edition you intend to install rather than combining the figures:
| Distribution | Published requirements or figures |
|---|---|
| Netflix | Android phone or tablet, Android 8.0 or later, at least 3 GB RAM, active Netflix subscription, internet for downloading and installing, and sufficient storage. Netflix says some features require internet, and lists controller support, cloud saves and offline play. |
| Epic Android listing | Android 10 minimum; 557.02 MB download; 1.87 GB installation size; application version 1.2.18 in the captured listing. |
The Epic figures come from its listing. Keep extra free space available because Android may need temporary room to unpack files and apply updates. Minimum requirements establish compatibility thresholds, not guaranteed frame rates.

Offline play, controllers and multiplayer
Offline play
The campaign can be played offline in supported versions, but installation, initial authentication, cloud synchronization, purchase validation and online co-op require connectivity. Netflix’s game page says some features need internet, while its support page explicitly lists offline play: game page and support documentation. Launch and authenticate once while online before testing airplane mode.
Controllers
Touch controls are available, and the official materials identify Bluetooth/controller support. A controller is optional but generally better suited to a fast beat-’em-up. Compatibility can vary with the Android version, device, controller and mapping software; no particular model should be treated as universally guaranteed.
Multiplayer
Netflix specifically advertises online co-op for up to six players. The captured Playdigious materials confirm controller support but do not provide a complete multiplayer limit for every standalone build, and store metadata can change. Do not promise six-player support or cross-play between Netflix, Playdigious and Epic editions unless the current listing or publisher confirms it.

Which version should you choose?
Choose Netflix when you already subscribe
This is the simplest value proposition for an existing Netflix member: there is no separate game purchase, and Netflix supplies its own account ecosystem, cloud-save support and documented six-player online co-op. The trade-off is that access depends on an active membership, supported profile, region and device. A subscription cannot be assigned entirely to this one game because it also includes Netflix’s other content and games.
Choose Playdigious Google Play when you want non-Netflix ownership
This is the clearest route for readers who want the game outside Netflix and prefer Google Play. You can try the opening content before paying, and the Complete Edition listing includes both DLC expansions. Remember that “free” describes the trial, not the complete campaign, and an Android purchase should not be assumed to unlock console, PC, iOS, Netflix or Epic versions.
Choose Epic when its ecosystem or promotion matters
Epic makes sense for existing Epic users or when a live regional offer beats Google Play. The trade-offs are another storefront, potentially different device requirements and temporary pricing. Confirm the current price and Android compatibility before buying.

Common problems and fixes
You downloaded the wrong app
Compare the developer, screenshots and description. Netflix’s listing says it is available exclusively for Netflix members; Playdigious’ listing describes a free trial and in-app unlock. Use the direct package listings for Netflix and Playdigious.
The game does not appear in search
Check Android compatibility, region and account availability, update Google Play or Netflix, free storage, and (for Netflix) the profile’s maturity setting. Netflix says a game may be hidden when a profile rating is too low or the device is incompatible: Netflix Help.
The listing says free but asks for payment
That is normal for the Playdigious edition: the trial is free, while the full adventure is an in-app unlock.
Offline mode or a purchase fails
Reconnect, finish initial downloads and authentication, then retry. Online co-op, cloud saves and account checks are not offline features. If an unlock does not appear, use the store account that made the purchase and the app’s restore-purchase option where available.
Performance is poor
Update Android and the game, close background apps, free additional storage and test the trial before purchasing when possible. Published minimums do not guarantee identical performance across devices.
Verdict
Android players no longer need Netflix to play TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Install the Netflix edition if you already pay for Netflix and want the included game; install Playdigious’ Google Play edition if you want a non-subscription purchase with a free trial and both mobile DLC expansions. Epic is a legitimate alternative, but its price and promotions are time- and region-sensitive. Always verify the developer and the current store description before downloading.
