How participants entered
The archived event page said participants needed a Game Jolt account, a game page, and a published release. After the jam began, they submitted through the event’s Submit Game channel. The page also linked a Rules & FAQ resource, but specific eligibility and intellectual-property or licensing terms are not established here. Access to the named properties should not be taken as proof of any particular license or reuse rights.
What roles did G4 and NBCUniversal play?
G4 planned behind-the-scenes coverage and interviews with participating teams, with winners to be announced on its gaming program Xplay. GamesBeat reported support from Comcast NBCUniversal Lift Labs and Universal Games and Digital Platforms. Those are distinct descriptions of the event’s coverage and support, not evidence that every organization had the same role. GamesBeat’s announcement coverage also quoted Bill Kispert of Universal Games and Digital Platforms: “The indie development community is a vibrant and vital part of the games landscape, and Together Jam provides game developers from around the world with the opportunity to showcase their talents while having fun with some of NBCUniversal’s beloved characters and stories.”
