Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered launched on February 14, 2025. It bundles The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, with updated visuals, switchable classic graphics, and a choice of modern or tank-style controls.
When did Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered release?
The collection launched on February 14, 2025. The original title’s “coming in 2025” wording is therefore out of date. Tomb Raider’s launch announcement and Aspyr’s release notice confirm the launch date.
What games are included in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered?
The collection brings together three games originally released in 1999, 2000 and 2003, respectively, according to the official launch announcement.
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation — Lara discovers Set’s tomb and fulfills an ancient prophecy.
- Tomb Raider: Chronicles — stories from Lara’s past are recalled through memories shared at her memorial.
- Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness — Lara is a murder suspect and fugitive drawn into a conspiracy involving alchemical experiments and ancient artifacts.

What platforms is Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered on?
Aspyr lists the collection for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Its release notice confirms the digital storefront and console options; availability can vary by storefront and region.
The US PlayStation Store listing identifies digital PS4 and PS5 versions and says a purchase entitles the buyer to both digital versions. This is a US listing; check the relevant store for local availability. The official sources cited here do not confirm a physical edition.

What changes in the remaster?
The launch announcement says the collection improves visuals for environments, characters and artifacts. Players can switch between classic and modern graphics during play, and choose modern controls inspired by later entries or classic tank-style controls. It also lists boss health bars, Photo Mode, and new achievements and trophies on supported platforms.
These are publisher-stated features, not a platform-by-platform performance comparison. The cited sources do not establish that one version runs or looks better than another.

What happened with the AI voices in the 2025 update?
Aspyr’s product page records an August 2025 statement from “The Aspyr Team”: “Our recent patch on August 14, 2025 for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered contained unauthorized generative AI voiceover content.” The page does not name an individual spokesperson.
Aspyr said an external partner made the changes without its knowledge or approval. It said a subsequent update removed all AI voiceover content while keeping improvements from the previous patch, and apologized to Françoise Cadol and the Tomb Raider community. What did Patch 2 change?
Aspyr’s Patch 2 support article, dated August 13, 2025, documents fixes and improvements including a New Game Plus softlock fix, low-frame-rate work on Nintendo NX, and multiple graphics and visual corrections. The article’s list is not a full analysis of every patch change.
Aspyr also says Golden Pistols unlock after registration on TombRaider.com. They can be toggled in Tomb Raider 4 or Tomb Raider 5, but are not available in Tomb Raider 6.
