Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has five standard secret skaters to unlock through the Secret Shop, goals, and collectibles. Andy Anderson, Bam Margera, and Michelangelo are direct purchases; Birdman and Constable Richard require extra steps. DOOM Slayer and Revenant are separate Deluxe Edition bonus characters, not challenge unlocks.
Standard secret skaters: unlocks and costs

The first three are the most straightforward: earn or save the required in-game cash and purchase each skater. Birdman and Constable Richard have prerequisites in addition to their reported shop costs.
How to unlock Birdman
Complete the goal prerequisite
Guides describe Birdman as requiring goals across the THPS 3 and THPS 4 content, but they do not all give the same level of detail. Push Square names the Pinball goal “Wallplant the Multiball Targets” as the specific prerequisite.
Buy the feather item
After meeting the goal requirement, purchase Strange Feathers for $5,000 in the Secret Shop, as specified by Push Square. Other guides refer more generally to buying Feathers. The sources agree on the goal-plus-shop-item path, but differ in how precisely they describe its prerequisite and item name.

How to unlock Constable Richard
Find all 19 Panda Plushies
Collect every hidden Panda Plushie across the 19 levels. Once the full set is collected, detailed guides from PCGamesN and Push Square say Constable Richard becomes available for a further $5,000 Secret Shop purchase. Some shorter summaries say the plushie collection unlocks him without mentioning that extra cost, so check the shop after completing the collectible set.
Deluxe Edition bonus characters
DOOM Slayer and Revenant are included with the Digital Deluxe Edition or its Deluxe Edition upgrade. They are not part of the five standard gameplay/shop secret skaters, and you do not need to complete an in-game challenge to unlock them.

Which secret skater should you unlock first?
- For a direct purchase: Andy Anderson or Bam Margera cost $5,000 each and are listed as available from the start.
- For the lower-cost direct unlock: Andy and Bam each cost half as much as Michelangelo, who costs $10,000.
- For a goal-based path: Birdman requires a goal prerequisite and a $5,000 feather-item purchase.
- For a collectible hunt: Constable Richard requires all 19 Panda Plushies, followed by a $5,000 shop purchase according to detailed guides.
- For edition-based access: DOOM Slayer and Revenant require the Digital Deluxe Edition or upgrade rather than in-game cash or collectibles.
