VGSources / Best Game Recording Software / FBX
What it is
FBX is Windows software for recording gameplay, streaming live and saving highlights while playing. A hotkey captures short clips instantly, while DVR-style recording can run continuously. It also records the Windows desktop, including web content and older games, and captures screenshots. Streaming adjusts to available bandwidth and can save streams to a hard disk. The editor provides GIFs, animated stickers, sound effects, captions, slow motion, speed changes, freeze frames and clipping. FBX uses NVIDIA, AMD or Intel hardware acceleration and is designed for older, low-spec PCs. Recordings export as MP4 or GIF, and movies can upload directly to YouTube through its API. Streaming supports Twitch API changes and Facebook Gaming. Game or PC audio and microphone audio can be recorded together; webcam capture must be enabled separately. The Free plan adds a video watermark.
