What it is

Pleio is a subscription service that streams PC and console quality games from remote servers to compatible devices. Its catalog contains more than 200 games, with new games added monthly, and games launch without downloads, installations, or updates; the Pleio app is required to view the library. The Pleio plan costs €9.99 a month and allows one connected device at a time. Streaming reaches 1080p on iOS and Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs, Samsung Smart TVs, Bbox Miami, and Bbox 4K devices. A 30-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. Local play supports up to four players, and subscribers can play online with other Pleio users. Signing up requires qualifying Bouygues Telecom or B&You service, or fixed internet with a Bbox decoder. Pleio says its games have no additional in-game purchases and its service has no ads.

Who it suits

Pleio suits Bouygues Telecom or B&You customers who want streamed access to a fixed catalog across phones, tablets, PCs, and selected TVs. It also suits households using local multiplayer or online play with other Pleio users.

Pleio provides a catalog-based cloud gaming subscription with broad device compatibility and 1080p streaming. The one-device limit, required provider eligibility, and inability to stream personally owned games define how the service can be used.
