Stardew Valley combines restoring a farm with raising animals, selling goods, mining, collecting, and building relationships. It is the strongest all-round starting point if you want a cozy routine that can expand into exploration and social play. 2. Farming Simulator 25 — best for machinery and agricultural operations
Best for: players who want tractors, equipment, crop systems, and farm operations—not primarily a story about village life.

GIANTS Software’s official feature list includes more than 400 machines from over 150 agricultural brands, three maps set in North America, East Asia, and Central Europe, and crops including rice, spinach, peas, and green beans. Goats, water buffalo, and baby animals join the livestock options; production chains, ground deformation, GPS-assisted steering, and weather events including twisters and hail add operational detail. It launched on November 12, 2024. GIANTS lists PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S; PlayStation lists the PS5 edition and says online play supports up to six players with PS Plus. For PC, GIANTS lists minimum requirements of Windows 10/11 or macOS 11.3+, an Intel Core i5-6400, AMD Ryzen 5 1400, or Apple M1 processor, 8 GB RAM, compatible graphics with at least 3 GB VRAM, and 45 GB storage. 3. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar — best for a market-driven farm routine
Best for: cozy farming with a specific weekly goal beyond putting produce in a shipping bin.
Its weekly marketplace gives the farming loop a distinct focus: grow and prepare goods in response to community demand, then bring them to market. 4. Coral Island — best for an island setting and broad activities
Best for: players who want familiar farm-life systems alongside exploration and environmental restoration.
Coral Island pairs crop growing and animal raising with town relationships, mining, museum development, and deep-sea diving. Rune Factory 4 Special combines farming with action-RPG elements, including dungeons, tamable animals, festivals, and relationships.
