What kind of game is Totally Reliable Delivery Service?
The official site calls it “A Physics Based Multiplayer Comedy Game About Terrible Delivery Drivers” and describes its play as “Unpredictable ragdoll physics meets snappy platforming.” Official game site Steam describes it as a ragdoll physics simulation in which couriers work together using machinery and gadgets to deliver packages. Deliveries are the premise, but the fun is less about precision driving than coping with awkward, unpredictable movement while trying to get the job done. Vehicles, gadgets, and sandbox distractions give players room to improvise. That makes the game a better fit for friends who enjoy laughing at plans that go sideways than for players looking for a tightly controlled delivery simulator.
Is Totally Reliable Delivery Service fun with friends?
The strongest case for the game is cooperative comedy: coordinating with friends can turn fumbled movement and botched deliveries into the point of the session. The weakness is that the same roughness can feel frustrating when controls, bugs, or a lack of direction get in the way. Critic excerpts on Metacritic illustrate that split: GameGrin noted technical bugs but said the game delivered fun and could become “goofy multiplayer fun” with friends; TheGamer argued it felt inadequate even as a brief, ridiculous game to play with friends. Consider it if your group likes slapstick physics and improvising together, and is willing to put up with some rough edges. If you want responsive controls, a clear sequence of goals, or a polished solo experience, the review concerns are more relevant.

What about the mobile version?
The Apple App Store listing describes a Solo Play update in which players can explore the area and unlock activities and vehicles area by area with currency earned from deliveries. It also says the update introduced in-game ads. Mobile availability and monetization can change by region and over time, so check the current listing where you live before downloading.
