Spoilers for every ending: Valkyrie Elysium has four endings, and the branches are decided in Chapter 9, “The Fate of the World.” Whether you meet Armand, which dialogue option you choose, and whether you collect the final Verdant Blossom determine your route. For the true ending, gather every Verdant Blossom available through Chapter 8, collect the blossom that appears in Chapter 9, then meet Armand and refuse his offer.
How to get all endings in Valkyrie Elysium
Use the route table to choose your Chapter 9 actions. The ending names below follow the guides’ route labels; the true ending is presented separately because it requires an additional collectible and expanded finale. The branch details are documented by PowerPyx’s trophy guide and SAMURAI GAMERS’ ending guide.

How to get the true ending
- Before Chapter 9, collect every available Verdant Blossom. Clear the blossoms available through Chapter 8. Guides disagree about the total count, so use the in-game collection and chapter progress rather than relying on a number.
- Start Chapter 9 and collect the final Verdant Blossom. With the earlier blossoms collected, the final one appears during the chapter. Pick it up before proceeding to Armand.
- Meet Armand and refuse his offer. Choose the first dialogue option. Accepting the offer with the second option ends the game immediately instead of continuing the true-ending route.
- Complete the expanded final sequence. The route adds battles involving Hilde and concludes with Ragnarok Odin.
Can you get the other endings later?
PowerPyx reports that the endings are not missable: on repeat runs of Chapter 9, the Verdant Blossom reappears, allowing you to pursue another branch. This is guide-reported replay behavior, rather than a guarantee stated by Square Enix.
What can you play after an ending?
Square Enix says that completing one of the multiple endings unlocks the post-ending content Hilde’s Vengeance and Seraphic Gate. The publisher’s update announcement says the free update was available for PS4 and PS5 and included in the Steam version: Square Enix’s update announcement.
