Download Valorant Tracker from Tracker Network’s official app page, run its Windows installer, then open the app and launch VALORANT on the same PC. You do not need to install Overwolf separately, according to Tracker Network. Before linking a Riot account, review the consent prompt and profile visibility: Riot requires opt-in for personal-data sharing, and its current policy lists pre-match scouting as an unapproved use.
What Tracker.gg does—and what you need
Valorant Tracker is a free Windows PC companion app and overlay from Tracker Network, built on the Overwolf platform. Its features need to run on the same system as VALORANT, so it is not available as a console overlay. Tracker Network says its installer includes the components needed to run the app, so a separate Overwolf installation is not required.
Tracker Network advertises live-match and pre-match information, player profiles, match history, agent, map and weapon statistics, recent-match trends, lineups, and automatic video highlights. Those are the publisher’s listed capabilities, not independently verified performance claims.
How to install Valorant Tracker
- Get the installer from an official source. Visit the Valorant Tracker app page and download the Windows installer. Tracker Network also identifies the Overwolf store as an official source; avoid third-party download mirrors.
- Run the installer. Follow its prompts. Tracker Network says the installer sets up what is needed in a single download; the sources do not establish specific screens or button labels.
- Open the app, then start VALORANT. Both should be running on the same Windows PC for the overlay to work. Console play is unsupported.
- Review account sharing before linking. Read the authorization and consent prompt, and check the profile’s visibility settings before signing in or connecting a Riot account.
How to use the app
The app combines information intended for different moments: live-match and pre-match details, plus profiles and statistics such as match history and agent, map, and weapon performance. Tracker Network also lists lineups and automatic video highlights. Which information is available can depend on account data-sharing choices and Riot’s rules; see the policy section below before relying on pre-match scouting.

You can also view VALORANT stats through Tracker Network’s VALORANT stats page. Tracker Network’s page says signing in makes the profile public and provides a “Make private” control. Check the current visibility setting rather than assuming that linking an account keeps its profile private.
If the in-game overlay does not appear
Tracker Network’s troubleshooting guide says installing while a game is open can prevent the overlay from appearing. Try its suggested sequence:

- Fully close running games.
- Close Tracker from the system tray.
- Reopen the Tracker app.
- Launch VALORANT after the app is open.
The guide also warns that running multiple games at once may cause overlay errors. It names running VALORANT as Administrator as another possible cause, but the available guidance does not establish a fix for that case.

There is a meaningful difference between Tracker Network’s assurance and Riot’s published policy. Tracker Network says its app works with Riot and complies with Riot’s rules, while advertising live player scouting and pre-match information. Riot’s VALORANT Developer API Policy requires opt-in for apps that show player stats and identifies “Scouting, which is seeing an opponents stats before a match starts” as an unapproved use case. Riot also says VALORANT apps must request opt-in through Riot Sign On and disclose that linking an account makes player data public.
