That window closed on April 3, 2025 at 5 PM PDT. The emote was not a permanent free reward, and it cannot be claimed for free through that event today. Reporting from later in 2025 describes a paid route through the in-game Store, but that listing could not be confirmed as live when this article was prepared on October 8, 2026.
Where the free emote came from
The emote was added as a final reward on the existing Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure reward path. It was not attached to the paid Pick-Up Bundle, according to ComicBook.com’s report of March 28, 2025, which reproduced the official Marvel Rivals announcement. Coverage calls it the “Venom twerk emote,” but the in-game name is Symbiote Boogie.
The reward is purely digital. Claiming it required no separate purchase or hardware, and it has no physical counterpart.
How players unlocked it during the event
The free route had one condition: players had to clear the entire event path before the final reward could be claimed. The announcement put it this way:

“That’s right, it’s not a joke – finish Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure and collect all 24 rewards on the path to unlock the Symbiote Boogie emote!”
That sentence is attributed to the Marvel Rivals official account. Coverage does not name an individual writer or developer behind it.

- Open the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event board from the game’s event entry point.
- Work through the path and collect each of the 24 earlier rewards. The emote is not reachable until the path is complete.
- Claim the final reward on the board. India Today Gaming’s April 1, 2025 guide describes it as the center-board reward that unlocks after the 24th reward.
- Equip the emote on Venom. India Today Gaming describes using Venom’s radial menu from the Hero Tab.
The free claim window and its status
Coverage agrees on the dates. The emote was claimable from March 31, 2025 at 5 PM PDT until April 3, 2025 at 5 PM PDT, as reported by ComicBook.com and India Today Gaming. Both endpoints were at 5 PM PDT. The reporting does not specify platform or regional differences, so the window should be read as the one published for the event overall.
If you missed the window, the free route is closed. Because the event has ended, there is no reported way to earn the emote through the original path.

GamesRadar+ reported that after the event, players could buy Symbiote Boogie in the in-game Store for 500 Units and then equip it for Venom from the Hero Tab. The publication date of that guide is not established in the coverage we could access, and the 500 Units price was a report at that time, not a confirmed current price.

What is and is not established
The original event details, including the 24-reward requirement and the March 31 to April 3, 2025 window, are confirmed by more than one gaming outlet. The post-event Store route rests on a single guide, and we could not locate an official Marvel Rivals page for this specific emote to confirm it. Treat the 500 Units price as a reported figure, not a current one.
Nothing in the coverage suggests the emote will return as a free reward, and no future event is reported for it.
