There is no single best style for every role in Volleyball Legends. For serving, community guides point to Hidari or Jinko; for blocking, one guide favors Mikage; and for spiking, it ranks Timeskip Hinto first. These are community recommendations, not official or controlled rankings. Compare the relevant stats and abilities in-game, and check that a style is currently available before committing to it.
How to compare styles by role
Styles are characters with individual stats and, in some cases, special abilities. The game’s style overview lists block, serve, jump, and spike among the relevant stats: Volleyball Legends styles. A community stat guide recommends judging a style by the job you want it to do rather than by rarity alone: community stat guide.
- Serving: compare serve power and any ability that affects serve pressure or control.
- Blocking: compare block strength and jump height, plus any ability that improves reach.
- Spiking: compare spike power and jump height, along with attack-oriented abilities.
Styles distribute attributes differently, so a rare style is not automatically the best fit for your position. No reliable source establishes a complete numerical ranking across all styles.
Best community picks for each role

Serving: Hidari or Jinko
For a serving-focused build, prioritize serve power and abilities that help apply pressure or improve control. A community directory identifies Hidari and Jinko as notable serving options: community style directory. It does not provide controlled comparisons showing which one serves better, so compare their current in-game stats and abilities rather than treating either as a definitive winner.

Blocking: Mikage
A community position guide puts Mikage at the top of its blocking recommendations and says its “Ghost Arms” ability increases block radius: community position guide. Consider block strength and jump height as well as that reach claim; the recommendation and ability description come from the guide, not official balance documentation or controlled testing.
Spiking: Timeskip Hinto
The same community position guide ranks Timeskip Hinto first for spiking and calls it limited-time. Treat that availability description as the guide’s claim and check the live roster in-game. For an attack-focused choice, compare spike power and jump height, then account for any attack-oriented ability the style has.

Style availability and balance can change.
