In short
Gameplane: Gameplane combines Kubernetes deployment with server controls, backups, mod sources, and access management. It is most relevant when you already run, or plan to run, a self-hosted Kubernetes setup.
Minepanel: Minepanel makes sense for a Minecraft host who wants Java and Bedrock under one self-managed dashboard and is comfortable operating Docker. It offers broad server software coverage, useful diagnostics, detailed monitoring, role-based access and several notification and storage choices. The main reservation is recovery: backups exist, but restoring one is not a one-click task. Hardware limits also determine how many servers you can run. Choose it when control and a free MIT-licensed tool matter more than managed hosting or hands-off maintenance.
