The Wallace & Gromit Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator launched on March 4, 2025, so it is no longer an upcoming release. The paid add-on includes five jobs inspired by the duo’s home, inventions, vehicles and Moon Rocket. You’ll need the base game to play it.
What’s in the Wallace & Gromit Special Pack?
The pack adds five themed cleaning jobs, listed by Nintendo as:
- Wallace & Gromit’s Dining Room & Kitchen
- Wallace & Gromit’s House
- The Knit-O-Matic
- Wallace & Gromit’s Vehicles
- The Moon Rocket
FuturLab’s developers describe familiar details throughout the levels. The house includes Gromit’s kennel and inventions such as the Soccamatic and Shopper 13. The vehicle job features the Snomanotron, the Top Bun bakery van and Techno Trousers. The Moon Rocket level reaches inside the cockpit, where players find the aftermath of an extraterrestrial picnic. Xbox Wire’s March 4, 2025 interview with the developers also notes a moving toy train in the dining room and animation work on washable objects such as the Knit-O-Matic.
How WASH LAD fits into the pack
Players use WASH LAD, a cleaning-adapted version of Wallace’s Labor Assistant Device. FuturLab says the original LAD appeared in Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention; the team gave the new character articulated elbows and legs suited to cleaning. Animator Alannah Meek said the developers created a new Wallace and Gromit character model while retaining as many elements of the original LAD as possible.

The jobs use familiar places and mishaps to give the dirt a role in telling the story. PowerWash Simulator writer Mark Ginbey described the approach as putting the pair in recognizable environments and asking what could go wrong, rather than building a complicated overarching narrative.
Release date, platforms and what you need
The Special Pack launched on March 4, 2025. Steam’s DLC listing and Nintendo’s Switch listing give that date. Nintendo and Xbox Wire identify PowerWash Simulator as a requirement, so the pack is add-on content rather than a standalone game.
