In March 2022, Raven Software acknowledged that some Operators in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific were not receiving Season 2’s parachute speed improvements. Contemporary reporting described some players gliding with the older behavior while others used the revised glide. That is a historical report: the available information does not establish whether the issue was later fixed or whether it affects current Warzone.
What was the Warzone parachute glitch?
Season 2 of Warzone Pacific changed parachute gliding so players could travel farther without relying on the previous sideways-glide technique. A March 2022 report said community members found that certain Operators still behaved as if they had the older glide.
In that report, community testing associated a speed readout of 6.6 with the revised behavior and 10.4 with the older behavior. Those figures were reported by Charlie INTEL while summarizing community testing; they are not independent measurements or a guarantee of how the game behaves now. The reported difference helps explain why players asked, “Why do I fall faster than the people around me?” or said that some Operators parachuted farther than others.
Which Operators were reported to glide differently?
The March 2022 report described Vanguard Operators as using the revised glide behavior, while Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War Operators were reported as inconsistent. It listed these period-specific examples:
Quick wins for a faster PC:

- Four rear, remappable paddles keep your thumbs on the sticks for faster reactions.
- Five fully remappable G-Keys for advanced macros and Corsair iCUE integration.
- Two unique side-mounted SAX buttons are designed to provide additional configurability and fit the natural placement of your fingers.
- OMRON mechanical button switches operate like a mouse click for instant activations.
- Corsair SlipStream ultra-fast wireless-connectivity.
| Reported behavior | Operators named in the March 2022 report | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Older glide behavior | Roze, Nikolai, Naga, Weaver, and Wraith | Community observations reported at the time; not a definitive or current compatibility list. |
| Revised glide behavior | Stone, Sims, Golem, Grinch, Krueger, Mil-Sim, and Minotaur | Community observations reported at the time; not a definitive or current compatibility list. |
These examples describe what players reportedly observed in the Season 2 period, not a dependable way to choose an Operator in the current game.
What did Raven Software say, and what was the status?
Charlie INTEL attributed this statement to Raven Software on March 17, 2022: “We are aware of an issue where certain Operators are unaffected by the Season 2 parachute speed improvements. We are actively working on a fix, thanks for the reports!” The same report said the related Trello card was marked “investigating” across all platforms and gave no predicted fix date.
