Wizard101 worlds in main-story order
KingsIsle groups the main story into four arcs. Read each row from left to right, then continue to the next arc.

This is the arc sequence published in KingsIsle’s Nintendo Switch Worlds’ First event. The game’s official Worlds of the Spiral page also displays Wizard City, Krokotopia, Marleybone, MooShu, and Dragonspyre as its opening destinations.
Do side quests or optional worlds change the order?
No. KingsIsle says, “Only mainline quests are required to complete each Arc; side quests are optional.” The arc list is therefore a main-story progression, not a requirement to complete every quest or every place called a world.

The official player guide names Grizzleheim and Wysteria among the known worlds of the Spiral. They are not in the event’s four-arc main-story list, and the guide does not establish a definitive optional-world play order. They should not be inserted into the sequence above as though they were mainline arc stops.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does the world order tell you what is free?
No. Story sequence and access are separate questions. The player guide says free players can access most of Wizard City, including Unicorn Way and Triton Avenue, and can use Crowns for pay-by-zone access. It also says members may access more than 50 adventuring zones. These descriptions do not mean every world or zone is free, and access terms may change; check the official player guide for current details.
