The standard Trench Coat colors—black, camel, grey, and red—are listed in the Survivor Crate. The distinct PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Trench Coat is associated with the exclusive Pre-Order Crate, whose contents are described as discontinued. Neither historic listing confirms that a crate or coat is currently obtainable on your platform or in your region.
Which trench coat do you mean?
PUBG has standard Trench Coat color variants and a separately named PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Trench Coat. Their crate histories differ:
| Cosmetic | Crate listed | What the listing establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Trench Coat (Black), (Camel), (Grey), and (Red) | Survivor Crate | The Survivor Crate contents list includes these four variants. Survivor Crate listing |
| PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Trench Coat | Pre-Order Crate | The coat is listed as part of the exclusive PLAYERUNKNOWN set; the crate contents are described as discontinued. Pre-Order Crate listing |
So, if you mean one of the four standard colors, the crate historically associated with it is the Survivor Crate. If you mean PLAYERUNKNOWN’s named coat, its listed crate is the Pre-Order Crate. Cosmetic listing
Does opening a Survivor Crate guarantee a coat?
No. The Survivor Crate listing says each crate awards one item, but it does not say that the item will be a trench coat. A coat appearing in the contents list means it is among the listed items, not that one opening guarantees it. Survivor Crate item details

How to check a crate’s contents in PUBG
Historic item listings do not establish what is available in your current game client. PUBG Support says the box’s information icon shows the types of items it contains, making that the practical check before spending BP or opening a box. PUBG Support: checking box contents
- In the lobby, open the box details and tap the information icon at the bottom right to view its item types.
- To open a box you already have, go to Rewards → My Crates, select the box, then choose Open Crate. PUBG Support notes that a box requiring a paid key cannot be opened without purchasing that key. PUBG Support: opening crates
What crates and clothing mean in PUBG
PUBG Support defines a crate as an item purchasable with BP in the game and says crates contain wearable clothing items. Its support description also says clothing does not affect game performance. PUBG Support: What is a Crate?
