A separate listing for a Mega Pack variant adds guarantees of at least 10 Player Items and one item rated 82 or higher. The exact contents depend on the pack variant, so check its in-game description rather than treating either listing as universal.
What is in a Mega Pack?
The question still commonly uses the older “FIFA” name, but the current listings discussed here are for EA SPORTS FC 26 Football Ultimate Team. They should not be assumed to describe Mega Packs in every earlier FIFA or EA SPORTS FC edition.

FUTNext’s current FC 26 Mega Pack listing describes 30 items, all Gold, with a mix of players and consumables and 18 Rare items. A separate FUTNext listing describes a Mega Pack variant as containing 30 Gold Player and Club Items, including at least 10 Player Items, one item rated 82 or higher, and 18 Rare items. Those descriptions are not identical; use the pack description shown in your game to identify the specific variant you have.
Does “Rare” mean a high-rated player?
No. EA explains that Rare/Common status is separate from a player item’s Bronze, Silver, or Gold class and its overall rating. Rare denotes an item designated by EA for an uncommon, special, or unusual attribute or recognition; it is not a guarantee of a top-rated player. The 18 Rare items in a listing therefore describe rarity-designated items, not 18 elite players. EA’s rarity explainer dates to October 15, 2021, and explains the distinction rather than the contents of a current FC 26 pack.

How many players are in a Mega Pack?
The broader listing says the pack mixes players and consumables but does not state a minimum player count. The separate variant listing guarantees at least 10 Player Items. Because that guarantee is attached to a particular listing, check the exact in-game pack description before relying on it.

“Good player” is not a defined probability category, and a pack’s contents do not promise a specific named player, special card, or market value. EA says pack probabilities are shown for the available category of items—such as items meeting a rating threshold—not for an individual named player. Each opening is independent, and probabilities can change as live content changes.

For packs available with FC Points, open the Ultimate Team Store and choose Show Pack Probabilities on the pack to see its current figures. EA describes these as minimum probabilities of receiving one or more items in the listed categories. Read the displayed category and rating threshold carefully: a category-level chance is not the chance of drawing any particular player.
