What does “memory fragment found” do?
The notification signals that additional story material has become available for a Nightfarer. Memory fragments are earned through progression during expeditions; they are not objects you need to locate on the map. The AELGames guide, published May 29, 2025 and marked modified August 16, 2025, links fragments to Journal chapters and access to remembrances: AELGames’ memory-fragment guide.

Where to check for new content
- Return to Roundtable Hold and interact with the Journal.
- Open the Journal for the Nightfarer whose story you’re progressing, then check for a newly available chapter.
- If the chapter offers “Begin remembrance,” select it to enter the Realm of Remembrance and receive that character’s objective.
- Follow the objective instructions. Remembrance objectives may need to be completed during an expedition.
What happens during a remembrance?
A remembrance starts a character-specific objective in the Realm of Remembrance. The guide associates relic rewards with completing remembrance content, not with the fragment notification itself. A player comment in a Steam Community discussion dated December 2, 2025 also reports that an outfit can coincide with the final chapter, but that is a player report rather than an official guarantee: Steam Community discussion.
Why might a remembrance objective not proceed?
In group play, only one Personal Objective can be active per session. If a teammate’s objective is active, it may affect when yours can proceed. The Steam discussion includes a player explanation that each notification corresponds to one or more new Journal pages; treat that as community corroboration, not official documentation.

How are memory fragments earned?
The AELGames guide describes fragments as expedition progression and identifies defeating Nightlords or other major bosses as a reliable route to earning them. It does not establish a complete list of triggers or exact requirements for every Nightfarer and chapter. The notification alone therefore does not tell you which specific boss or victory unlocked the new content, and requirements may differ across characters or chapters.
