What “every game” means here
The title includes two game experiences, but only one is a remastered game: Sonic Generations. Shadow Generations is described by SEGA as a new campaign, not as a separate collection of older Shadow games. Likewise, the 2D and 3D stages in Sonic Generations are parts of that experience, not individual games bundled into the package.

Platforms and editions
SEGA’s October 2024 release announcement listed PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam and the Epic Games Store. SEGA later announced a Nintendo Switch 2 release. Platform availability and edition contents can vary, so check the current listing for your region and platform before buying. SEGA lists a physical edition, but that does not establish that one is available for every platform.
Sales figure
SEGA CORPORATION announced on January 24, 2025 that Sonic X Shadow Generations had sold more than two million units worldwide. The publisher said the figure was based on its internal data and combined physical and downloaded titles across all platforms. SEGA’s announcement provides the figure and its scope.
