Chain of Perfection is an unlockable quest/Echo talent in Deepwoken. It builds Perfection stacks that increase damage against PvE enemies; community references say you unlock it by defeating a boss without taking damage, with Deepwoken Builder specifying that the boss must be defeated solo.
What Chain of Perfection does
Deepwoken Builder describes a 5% increase to PvE damage for each Perfection stack above five, up to a 100% bonus at 25 stacks. The same reference is undated and community-maintained, so treat the values as reported mechanics rather than independently verified measurements. Deepwoken Builder
The Deepwoken Wiki’s status-effects reference describes Perfection as a final damage multiplier that bypasses the damage modifier cap. It also says weapon hits grant stacks, mantra hits count for half as much, and a single attack cannot grant more than three stacks. Deepwoken Wiki: Status Effects
How to unlock it
Defeat a boss without being hit. Deepwoken Builder says the defeat must happen while solo; the Wiki’s quest listing says to defeat any boss without taking damage, without stating the solo requirement. Because these are community references rather than official documentation, aim for a solo, no-damage boss defeat and confirm that the talent unlocks on your character. The Wiki’s talent-quest guide mentions Ferryman or a world boss as possible attempts, and describes a cannon strategy. These are player-facing suggestions, not guaranteed methods: encounter behavior and unlock-credit rules can change. What removes Perfection stacks?
The references disagree about fall damage. Deepwoken Builder says damage other than self-damage removes all stacks, while the Wiki’s status-effects page says non-self damage clears them but excludes fall damage. Does it carry over to other slots?
The Wiki’s Echoes reference says that after you first obtain Chain of Perfection, later-created slots can access the unlock at Power 1. It does not establish that the talent is granted retroactively to every slot you already have. Deepwoken Wiki: Echoes

Deepwoken Builder’s Finishing Slay reference says a Messer critical can consume Chain of Perfection stacks for additional damage. It lists 7 typeless damage per stack in PvP and 166 per stack in PvE; these are community-listed values and may change with balancing. Deepwoken Builder
